Spectral Capital Investment (FCCN) is a company that focuses on identifying, acquiring, developing and providing finance for technology that has transformative potential vis-a-vis current industries. Spectral Capital  looks for new technology that can easily be protected through the use of patents and trade secrets law. Currently Spectral Capital Corp has bought stakes in three tech companies. These companies are active and upward looking with management that will ensure that companies will have increase market penetration in their respective fields.  Spectral Capital 's ambition is to own such companies, either wholly or in part, that have the ability to take full advantage of their networks and experience in tech development.

Tech development and commercialization firms typically have various areas of competency. Some firms want to maximize their growth through expanding their intellectual property portfolios. They then make money but licensing that property as well as defending it vigorously by litigation. Some other companies focus on tech development with the aim of making the technology attractive to other companies who purchase technology that has potential to be very profitable. Other companies focus on developing software or technology that will attract a lot of users and the users can be targeted with advertising that can make the companies money. This sector is rather complicated and vast. To tackle this field Spectral Capital Corporation has initially focused on information tech that directly yields value to the consumers.

All companies in this field have to do one thing and that is to lower the risk profile of the technology that they are focused. This is specialized work that the companies, including Spectral Capital , must do so that the technology is at a point where it can generate growth while still being attractive to buyers.

Spectral Capital has a lot of management expertise, a developed knowledge not only the search fields but also media and analytics. It is in an attractive position in the field and has the ability to quickly identify and close transactions as well as a willingness to buy into technology that is currently undervalued vis-a-vis its potential. The 2008 financial collapse hurt the tech sector but now technology companies are making a comeback. Despite this, many companies still face an uphill battle to break into the field. This creates an opportunity for Spectral Capital  to find and invest in promising companies at the ground floor and more importantly where the buy-in cost is low.

Spectral Capital 's approach is more targeted than the other, older firms. These firms tend to flood the market with human resources and money. Spectral Capital  focuses on the most promising companies and technology that fit Spectral Capital 's area of expertise as well as available investment capital. They do not invest in tech or companies that would require a large  investment before profitability.

Three companies that are in Spectral Capital 's portfolio - Noot, Context, and Monitr.

Noot is a mobile tech company that has developed and released the smartphone app - for both iOS and Android- called Noot. This app uses search engine tech to help users simply find social media, video and photos as well as news. As the users use the app it "learns" what the users interests are and over time the results are better and better and become more personalized. Also Noot keeps searching for results while the app is not being used. Thus when the users returns to the app it will have more personalized and more enhanced results.

The second company, Kontexto, was founded in 2009. This company has developed services and software that provides real time, streaming data for institutions and companies. Their proprietary software product called publishflow which publishes and visualizes the data for their clients. In the UK, UK Trade and Investment, which is the largest government and business trade organization, gave them the award for "Technology of Exceptional Potential". Clients of Kontexto include Post Media Network,  the newspapers The Guardian and The Daily Mail, Bell Media as well as Getty Images and Abu Dhabi Media.

The last company, Monitr, is using technology that is still be developed. The goal of such development is to have a service that will improve the way that people find and consume financial news. The target time for the release of their product was late 2014
